Dr. Tapscott is the founder and senior pastor of Faith Christian Church and International Outreach Center - a fast -growing, multicultural church with ministries that impact the city of Warrenton, VA and nations around the world. He is a frequent conference speaker in, both, the US and abroad.
In addition to ministry advancement, Dr. Tapscott has labored on various state & local boards in the state of Virginia. He is a past governor's appointee to the State Board of Correctional Education; former member of the Lord Fairfax Community College Board of Education; former member of the Fauquier County School Board Task Force and a former board member of Hospice of the Rapidan.Currently, he can be found involved in numerous organizations and ministries both locally and globally.
Being very missions oriented, Dr. Tapscott has planted churches across America and abroad. He is the founder and presiding presbyter of The Fellowship of Prophetic Churches & Ministries; an apostolic equipping and sending ministry that provide mentoring to church and ministry organizations, both, locally and globally. He is a spiritual father to pastors and ministers in the United States and abroad. He functions in the Prophetic office; mentoring men and women in their development as five-fold ministry leaders and helping them to cultivate vision for their respective ministries.
Dr. Tapscott is a graduate of Logos University & Seminary, located in Jacksonville, Florida where he received his Doctorate of Ministry Degree. He appears on various cable television stations with his weekly ministry broadcast, "The Word of Faith". Some of these networks have included; The Inspiration Network, The WORD Network, Christian Television Network, and ION Media Network (formerly known as PAX). He is the author of, "Let Us Make Man" and "So Run", as well as, other publications that help equip the believers to grow and mature in their relationship & walk with the Lord. Dr. Tapscott has six adult children and resides with his wife, Delores, in Warrenton, Virginia.
