Gary Johnson
Pastor Gary Johnson was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1999, God dramatically changed his life upon his conversion. Gary was instantly delivered from drugs, alcohol, and an immoral lifestyle.
Pastor Gary became a licensed minister at the Temple of Jesus Church in 2005. During that time he has occupied various positions in the body of Christ. This would include the Deacons Ministry, Director of the Men’s Ministry, Marriage Ministry, and Finance.
God placed a call on his life and a sense of urgency to share with others the freedom and deliverance God has brought to his life. Currently, Pastor Gary serves in the Prince William Adult Detention Center ministering to those who are broken and wounded. He also serves the local community, empowering men to become reconciled to God as they discover and fulfill their purpose in Jesus Christ. Pastor Gary and Pastor Annie currently serve as Regional FamilyLife marriage coaches and mentors. He is a strong family man and a dedicated husband. He understands the importance and value of family and marriage.
In November 2009, Pastor Gary and his family joined Faith Christian Church & International Outreach Center in Warrenton, Virginia. Dr. Decker H. Tapscott, Sr., is their mentor and spiritual covering. Gary Johnson is the Founder of the following ministries:
“The Rock Ministry Inc.” A non-profit organization seeking to build lives on a strong foundation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ by mentoring, teaching, and meeting their physical and spiritual needs.
“The Rock Church of Manassas.” The conception of this ministry started in May 1997 that began a journey that blossomed into the church. Our mandate is to raise up an army of believers who are passionate about God. Also to empower people to build their lives on the solid Rock of Jesus Christ through the practical teaching of God’s Word. Pastor Gary is married to Pastor Annie Johnson and they have three children and 8 grandchildren
Annie Johnson
Pastor Annie Johnson is known, as a Child of the King, Teacher, Mentor, Coach, and Influencer she has a strong passion to help others succeed in identifying who they are in Christ. God uses her to equip, inspire, and help others to know, and hear His voice.
She believes that there was one key milestone in her life that propelled her to seek God. In 1996 when she became ill it was through her illness that God showed her how to apply the Word of God to restore her health. Also, in that time God freed her from fear, anxiety, and other issues. In that time a new awakening to the Word of God was birthed. As a zealous student of the Bible, her most intimate desire in life is to know God and help others. She is also very passionate in her pursuit of reading, studying, interceding for others, and spending time alone with God.
She has spent over 10 years mentoring, teaching, and coaching Women. She creates systems through God’s word to help her clients soar and break free from strongholds and limiting mindsets. By setting new goals, discovering who they are, and finding their true identity in Christ. She is excited and energized when she sees the individuals get unstuck and transcends into limitless possibilities.
Pastor Annie holds her BA degree in Theology from Aiden University in Jacksonville FL. She is a Life Coach and has a Certification in Personal and Executive Coaching from The CAPP Institute, and, a certification in Inner Healing and deliverance from Destiny Training Academy in NC.
Pastor Annie is an Intercessor, she loves to pray! “Women of The Word Studies,” was birthed out through a time of intimate fellowship with God and was launched on April 11, 2011. Women of the Word is a weekly Bible Study held on Saturday mornings to empower and awaken women into destiny. She helps women gain a practical and deeper understanding of God’s Word.

She is the co-founder of “The Rock Church of Manassas.” Along with her husband, Pastor Gary Johnson. The conception of this ministry started in April 2015. Pastor Annie was licensed and ordained by her spiritual Father Dr. Decker Tapscott along with her husband. Pastor Tapscott is their spiritual covering and Pastor Annie still serves under this Great Man of God. She is married with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Praise Him!!
